Cycling Charity
For the last four years, I have dedicated all my free time to my cycling training to raise money and awareness for children fighting bone cancer through Team Lydia and the Osteosarcoma Institute. Miles 4 Miracles is what we call my charity cycling events. My charity journey is inspired by my remarkable friend Lydia who is 14 and a two-time cancer survivor of osteosarcoma by the age of 12.
I personally raised money to support Lydia during her second cancer battle and treatments. After she was cancer free for the second time, Lydia and I teamed up to help raise money and awareness for Osteosarcoma due minimal federal funding (4%) goes towards children with caner. I did an ambitious 5-day ride (550 miles) from Sacramento to Santa Monica and a challenging one-day journey from Sacramento to Tahoe City (140 miles and 13,000 climb) which raised money for the non-profit, Osteosarcoma Institute.
Through these efforts, we aim to shed light on the struggles faced by young warriors battling bone cancer and to provide them with the support they need. Join us in making a difference—together, we can bring hope and healing to those in need. I have a community based ride out of Roseville, CA happening May 16, 2026. Check out www.milesformiracles.com
